Urban Alchemy

"Urban Alchemy" showcases four illustrations that re-imagine Ijplein, Amsterdam as a future city that celebrates and embraces waste. The project looks at the nature of trash and considers ways to elevate what is often neglected and intentionally dismissed by today’s society. The illustrations evaluate humanity's relationship with consumption, reversing the narrative by exploring new ways to value the labour, production energy, and materials that make up our everyday environment and items. This team project was awarded by the team at Non Architecture.
